This popped into my feed. Huge Dan fan. He was, perhaps the most underrated singer songwriter of a generation. She did a wonderful job. Didn't flourish it too much, stuck close to his version which was perfect to begin with. And the music sounded like it was lifted right from his version. Any kind of tribute to Dan is welcome. He deserves all accolades that can be bestowed.

Why in the heck was that male American Idol contestants voice in this video singing "She Works Hard For The Money"? He has no place on here. Donna Summer it s the most versatile female singer that ever recorded music. Her live performances are always on point. This is what i always say to people....Donna can sing their songs but no one can sing Donna's songs. Her voice was that unique. As Bette Midler said (Donna Summer is the Pop Vocal Queen") and i agree with her. Donna Summer is the most versatile female singer that ever recorded music and won Grammy Awards for it in different categories. I love Aretha's music BUT no one does it for me like Donna. Her live performances vocally will never let you down. Donna was an effortless phenomenal powerhouse singer. 《Not a great singer.》 Aretha was a very soulful singer during her hey day.. Donna Summer can sing other singers songs make it sound good and most of the time make it her own. Other singers can't sing Donna's songs. Donna's voice was so unique with different octaves and ranges that it could never be duplicated. I love Aretha's music but Donna Summer is the one that does it for me. She is pretty much the only female singer that sings "live" and sounds like the original recording. I have been to 52 of Donna's concerts and i never heard an issue with her voice. NEVER. Like i always say "No One Does It Like Donna".
